Radical Transparency

Every layer disclosed. Every material named. Every certification mapped to the specific component it covers. No exceptions.

OUR PROMISE

The furniture industry has a transparency problem.

Most sofas ship with a single label: “Made in [country].” No ingredient list. No source disclosure. No certification mapping. You know more about what's in your morning coffee than what's in the furniture your family sits on every day.

We built Covelle to be the opposite. We don't sell the cover. We disclose the core stack. Every material disclosed by name. Every source traceable by origin. Every certification independently verified and mapped to the specific component it covers. This isn't marketing. It's a materials standard enforced at the supply-chain level.

The Craft Behind Every Covelle

Where It All Begins

From Sri Lankan rubber groves to New Zealand sheep farms, tracing every source to its origin.

WATCH

The Supply Chain, Uncovered

Full traceability from raw material to your living room. Every step documented, every handler named.

DISCLOSED > UNDISCLOSED

Third-Party Certifications

We don't self-certify. Every active certification is verifiable through its issuing body.

PUBLISHED ABSENCES

What We Don't Claim

Alongside what we claim, we publish what we do not claim.

GREENGUARD Gold (and GREENGUARD)

Covelle holds no such certification.

CertiPUR-US

Covelle holds no such certification. CertiPUR-US certifies polyurethane foam; Verid Bio-Core is not a polyurethane, so it does not apply.

GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard)

Not claimed until the supplier documentation for the latex lands.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)

Not claimed until the supplier documentation for the cotton and linen lands.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 as a Covelle certification

Dorell Fabrics holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 at the supplier level. Covelle does not claim it as its own.

Disclosed instead

The support layer is Verid Bio-Core: 100% bio-based support foam, plant-derived polyols, no petroleum, not a polyurethane. The invisible structural layer most brands never disclose.

See It for Yourself

Words and certifications only go so far. Touch the materials yourself. Every swatch kit includes all six core materials.
